The Company
A leading international consultancy and engineering group that provides services and sustainable solutions for the following markets: Transportation, Building and Manufacturing, water, Aviation, Spatial Planning and environment. A total of 5000 socially committed professionals develop innovative concepts for these markets. Among Shanghai 's industrial clients are Philips, DSM, AT&S, Bayer, L'Oreal, Siemens and ABB, In others sectors DHV works for IKEA, China Mobile, several international schools and is involved in Expo 2010 projects.
The Role
Responsible for all the activities of sales and marketing including the development of strategy, objectives, policies and programs. Provides advice, direction and aid in plans for market research, advertising and sales training. Seeks the maximum volume of sales with the minimum cost. Focused on maintaining and improving the competitive position of the organization.
Main duties / responsibilities
l Bachelor Degree or above;Major is in technical / engineering file.
l Minimum 6 years of project selling and bidding experience with good marketing sense
l Familiar with the eastern and western cultures;
l Can work independently and provide prompt response to clients;
l Be responsible and hard worker with good work attitude;
l Fluent English and Chinese;
l Excellent communication skills;
l A multi-task player and team player;
l Willing to travel within China.
l Working experience in America/German Engineering Company is preferable;
Skills / Experience required
l Develop and retain relationships with current and potential clients;
l Develop and retain relations with key governmental departments and development zones;
l Attend meetings and do presentations at a high management level;
l Evaluate tenders and to prepare proposals for these tenders;
l Contract negotiations;
l Attend networking functions, events and trade shows
