The individual in this role develop, document, and implement worldwide support plans to ensure clients receive seamless hardware support for their purchased storage products. The Storage Global Service Planner works with world wide TSS service delivery teams to make sure they are prepared to support new storage products in time for General Availability. After General availability they will work closely with the world wide TSS service delivery teams to address any customer support or product quality issues that may negatively impact product performance. The Global Service Planner also works with the TSS service delivery teams to ensure storage products can be supported through the planned end of service date.
They play a leading role in defining Service Delivery processes and ensuring consistency for IBM customers. Within the scope of Integrated Product Development (IPD), they represent TSS in product quality DCT meetings.
Global service planners share product proposals with the world wide TSS support teams by communicating product information and roadmaps; obtaining TSS feedback, and negotiating requirements between TSS service delivery & the Storage development teams.
Required:
Knowledge of IBM Hardware Service Delivery & Support Processes;
Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills;
Experience with IBM Storage products;
Basic knowledge in Knowledge in Operations;
English: Fluent;
Chinese traditional: Fluent;
Flexible work hours - might have night calls with IBM teams in USA/Europe time zone.
Preferred:
Experience in Project Management and Negotiation;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Hardware Support Delivery;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Communication and Negotiation Skills;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Project Management and Negotiation;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in entry Disk products and Tape products.

Bachelor's Degree
