职位描述
Work Location: Beilun Ningbo
Responsibility;
1. Work closely with Special team and other departments on quotation and costing.
Identify the right suppliers to Special team on a project by project basis.
2. Coordinate suppliers and Special team or other departments to solve issues if there is any.
3. Collect quotations from suppliers in a timely manner.
4. Conduct cost analysis, cost comparison and value mapping, etc.
5. Identify areas where prices were not correctly addressed.
6. Negotiate with suppliers in a proper manner until a reasonable price is reached.
7. Participate in sourcing decision.
8. Assist item set up into the system from commercial perspective.
9. Follow up supplier delivery and monitor supplier performance on Specials.
10. Identify, suggest and implement improvement plans with suppliers.
11. Calculate and report cost savings on a monthly basis.
12. Monitor and report commodity market price fluctuations.
Competence:
1. Commodity knowledge in wood worktops, metal stamping, etc. preferably in furniture industry.
2. Understanding of logistics and TCO.
3. Understanding of cost build ups.
4. Able to work with suppliers directly and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
5. Good command of English and Mandarin.
6. Good communication and negotiation skills.
7. Computer competencies, e.g. MS Office applications, PPT, ERP, Lotus Notes, etc.
Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor degree or above. Engineering or Mathematical background is preferred.
2. Disciplined, integrity, honest and reliable.
3. Independent, result oriented and good problem solver.
4. Willing to work under pressure.
5. At least 2 years of working experiences in Purchasing /Sourcing in multinational companies.
