Position Responsibilities:

 Develop and manage strategic sourcing levers to achieve assigned KPI metrics and performance.

 Manage and develop effective sourcing strategies to achieve excellent support on delivery and order fulfillment to achieve optimal flexibility / quality / delivery and lowest TCO of the assigned commodity. 

 Manage and Develop effective sourcing strategies to achieve value maximization by leveraging market knowledge / supplier optimization / predictable and industry leading pricing, RF(x) and TCO cost modelling.

 Control Department budget and Monthly progress report.

 Continuously reviewing Purchasing processes to improve working KPI performance

 Monitor current commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges.

 Works closely with New Product Introduction and Engineering teams to ensure preferred technologies, components, and suppliers are designed into new solutions that achieve cost and performance targets

 Forecast Commodity cost reductions / price trends KPI

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):

 Preferably Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years working experience in the field of sourcing functions.

 Strong knowledge in Electronics Components and suppliers, or those of related technologies.

 Strong knowledge in Machining, Plastic Injection, Spray painting, die casting, Stamping, Extrusion, and  Hardware. 

 Strategic Sourcing Experience in Plastic, Aluminum Die Casting, Aluminum Extrusion, Metal Stamping, Machining, Hardware, Corrugated Packaging and E&E components.

Raw material indices monitoring and cost management.

 Experience in improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective based performance measures in the above commodity.

 Excellent project management, negotiation, strong statistical analysis, presentation and leadership skills.

 Proficient in Oracle and Engineering Solid Work software experience.   

 Able to interpret technical 2D drawing.

 Commercial and legal Contract Management Know-How & Sourcing Techniques.

Knowledge of China supply-base with implied need for travel and some auditing capabilities.

Fluent in spoken and written English.
