We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our Dongguan team. You will provide technical support from the sample development to the production stage. You will improve the quality standards in the product development process to ensure customers’ standards and requirements are satisfied.

  

How will you make a difference?

  

• Carry out suppliers factory evaluation based on the company sourcing & quality requirements
• Work closely with suppliers on product quality safety & risk analysis and evaluate their overall quality performance
• Collaborate with Merchandising and QC team in providing product specification/data and composing the product check report
• Develop and maintain packaging spec. to meet transportation and optimal distribution flow requirements for all products as well as the drop test
• Approve user manual, colour swatches and quality samples
• Organise pre-production meeting and first pilot for technical issues
• Follow up closely with suppliers to handle quality complaints; identify root causes and set corrective actions to help suppliers achieve successful performance
• Work independently and travel to the factory for quality issues

  

Who are we looking for?

  

·         3 years in Quality Engineer experience of Furniture and/or Accessories   

·         Good knowledge in furniture, home decoration and accessories on constructions, materials, product and quality levels at trading or manufacturing functions   

·         Experience on KD furniture, upholstery and mail order packaging experience is a plus  

·         Understanding of regulatory standards, protocols on sustainability, social responsibility, health and the environment topics in the EU market   

·         Solution-oriented and proactive; a high level of honesty and integrity; ability to work independently and also in a team  

·         Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese  

·         Familiar with MS Office programmes – Office 365, SharePoint
