Job Description

1. Ensure suppliers are clear on all Medline and International standards, processes and procedures as they relate to various medical devices.

2. Perform in line and finished good inspection and testing in accordance with Medline and International Standard to ensure acceptable quality. 

3. Work with Medline Shanghai and US team to determine appropriate testing parameters for the products to ensure limited failures in the field.

4. Perform process audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement on process control, production control and quality control.

5. Work closely with suppliers, the Shanghai office and the corporate office in the USA to communicate product changes, improvements, and trend data collected from inspections and manufacturing audits.

6. Work with Suppliers and Medline corporate office in US to help resolve various customer complaints. Specifically, help with root cause investigations and analysis. Implement CAPAs based on root cause investigations to reduce complaint numbers. Ensure that solutions to quality issues are properly implemented and upheld. 

7. Work with suppliers and Medline QC team in China to reduce product rejections.

8. Work with suppliers to identify opportunities for product and process improvements that lead to cost savings. 

9. Work with supplier to validate and optimize the production parameters and ensure suppliers properly document and verify these parameters once implemented.

Qualifications:

1. B.S. Degree in Engineering, or Fluid Mechanics, or Industrial engineer or Medical device related engineering field .

2. 3+ years of experience on process control and quality control is required, process audit skills and quality system auditor will be preferable 

3. Ability to read and interpret product specifications and drawings

4. Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and organizational skills

5. Professional attitude with a heightened sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

6. Ability to effectively recognize and suggest improvements for finished products, processes and documentation practices to suppliers, managers, and coworkers.

7. Proficiency of PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe and E-mail 

8. Capable of handling special projects as directed by Managers.

9. Available to travel frequently, 60%-80%.

10. Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills.
