Day to Day Responsibilities:

·       In charge of mass production line performance improvement to support on time delivery through setting up and management contract manufacturing (CM) engineering performance metrics. Identify issues which may impact production and drive for continuous improvement.

·       Support NPI (new product introduction) program landing at CMs. Work with CMs on processes design (DFX), such as CNC, IOX, screen printing, coating and so on to meet engineering requirements of program.

·       Gate keeper for CM product change management and process control. Work with CMs to conducts engineering experiments (EEP) and ensure the knowhow is learned and well documented.

·       Develop LCCM capability in process engineering and management through guidance and training. Protect Corning technology asset when delivering information to CMs.

·       Be the bridge/liaison of Corning cross-functional teams and CM to explore/reflect issues, concerns, opportunities to mitigate Corning’s risk(s) in production area.

Requirements Skills:

·       Good English, CET-4.

·       Familiar with MS office tools, capable of writing reports in English.

·       Hands-on experience with glass finishing processes.

·       Detail oriented and able to perform with limited supervision.

·       Conviction and passion for the discipline.

·       Logical thinking to deal with complex problems in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

·       Effectively work with cross functional departments of Quality, production and Engineering.

·       Self-motivated, independent, flexible, quick learner.

·       Good communication skills.
