WORKING LOCATION:

Flexible, base in one of provinces/cities of North China (for example Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong etc.)




SUMMARY OF CLIENT:

Our client is a US based corporation and she is a global leader of innovative damage protection products and services for retailers in North America, Europe and Asia. She offers a full range of products used in the Parking Lot, Selling Floor, Backroom and Warehouse areas of many of the top retailers in the world.



The company has set up the Headquarter of Asia in Xiamen China to service the needs of some of her existing multinational retailers that are expanding into the China market.




REPORTING LINES:

Report to: General Manager-China




POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the GM of China, responsible for the market of North China. This position is designed to develop new market opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and grow our business within new and existing markets. We want to have an in depth knowledge of all the contacts within key customers/prospects in order to be well positioned to introduce new products and continue to find opportunities for our products and services.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement a sales strategy with minimum certain customer visits per week to meet or exceed agreed upon targets.
Use sales tools effectively to achieve sales objectives and improve communication to customers.
Use our CRM system (SalesForce.com) to build and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers.
Ensure current and potential customers are fully up to date with new products and services
Make professional presentations to key customer contacts relating to new products and/or programmes
Make sure customers understand company capabilities (products, lead-times, pricing ) .
Regularly gather competitive data and share with the global sales & marketing team.
Communicate regularly and openly with Leadership team members and work closely with the support team to ensure smooth implementation of customers' needs & expectations.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Proven track record of over achieving in a project based environment within a complex sales arena.
Proven ability of developing new business and managing existing accounts.
Experience of working for a market leader with a premium product.
Creative, yet highly organized.
Good English communication skills with the ability to interact at all customer levels.
A minimum of 3 years experience in business development.
Experience in the construction, health or retail industry will be a distinct advantage.
Existing high level successful relationships with government construction and safety departments.
Experience of solution selling and skill.
