SUMMARY: The Senior Compliance Specialist(s) will be responsible for working with the Compliance Specialist(s) and helping to maintain, monitor and develop systems and processes to ensure Jones business partners are aware of and effectively implementing Jones Standards for Contractors and Suppliers. This position will work with key stakeholders including but not limited to, merchandisers, production staff, external audit firms, sourcing, factories, vendors and agents to ensure manufacturing facilities making Jones products commit to legal compliance and ethical business practices and comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries in which Jones conducts business. The Senior Compliance Specialist(s) will be responsible for developing and delivering training plan to help factories implement effective management systems for labor and environment. The Senior Compliance Specialist(s) will also oversee the communication and education channels and opportunities to inform business partners and other stakeholders such as government, NGO, trade union and other companies' representatives about Jones compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Oversees on-the-ground factory monitoring programs, including training, remediation follow-up. Includes visiting factories producing for Jones on a regular and ongoing basis.
? Works with and supervises compliance specialist(s) to make sure corrective action plans are accurate and complete before they are sent for analyst(s) to review.
? Works with and supervises compliance specialist(s) to help the factories to establish long-term remediation goals, and to develop work plans and follow up with factories on the implementation of these work plans.
? Works with and helps team leaders to develop and maintain management system-based compliance approach; to update and develop audit, training and other tools, procedures, and methods.
? Performs system evaluation as well as uses traditional audit methodology to better understand factories management systems for compliance.
? Oversees and helps to establish and develop factory training curriculum and participates in factory training sessions.
? Works with compliance analyst(s) to prepare data and analysis report on monitoring and training activities; review and maintain database; conduct general research on social compliance issues; plan other programmatic activities in country/countries of responsibility.
? Works with and supports EHS specialist(s) to develop Jones EHS / Sustainability program; to measure and communicate program status to Jones management
? Coordinates best practices sharing and program implementation, including trainings and other corporate accountability programs and projects, both internal and external.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises field activities, conducts internal and external training. Lead a team of compliance specialists.

? Merchandising / Production / Engineering and ISO experience a plus
? Environmental and Sustainability related degree and certificate a plus
? Results oriented yet must have critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
? Must be self-motivated, hardworking and a team player who takes initiatives
? Must be able to manage people, work and projects effectively and keep to schedules and work plans
? Must have outstanding analytical, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
? Demonstrated ability of problem solving which creates new and effective solutions
? Demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, manage project development and have the ability to follow through on a regular and ongoing bases without supervision
? High degree of proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet-research / reporting / analysis tools
? Requires to travel to perform job duties as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
? Graduate in International Law / International Studies / Social Science / Human Resource / Communication / Environmental Engineering / Manufacturing Health and Safety / Chemical Safety preferred;
? Areas of work experience and knowledge preferred: Corporate Social Responsibility; Legal & Labor Issues; Human Resources Management; Workplace Health and Safety and Chemical Safety; Environmental Health and Safety; Social Compliance Auditing; Sustainability; Business Analysis;
? 3 plus years of social compliance experience in Capacity Building / Factory Training / Sustainability / Analysis preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
? Fluency in English and at least one other language relevant to the region/s of responsibility is required.
