Experienced NonStop hardware support Specialist required to fill unexpected attrition. Small team of 4 covering hardware support 365 days, so any attrition has large impact to operations. Experienced person required on board as soon as possible is critical to being able to maintain the support operation. Expected neutral cost.

We are currently hiring for a NonStop Hardware Support Specialist to be based in Dalian. This role is structured within HPE’s Global NonStop Solution Centre (GNSC) Our Solution Centres are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully resolve technical issues for NonStop Hardware from incoming internal or external businesses and end user's contacts and proactive notification systems
- Respond to service, product, technical, and customer- relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts and options
- Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence
- Ability to act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision- making process
- Review and may resolve complex business issues
- Add case resolution to KMS
- Understand and utilise ITIL
- Represent the company in a face to face customer location visit, industry conference/trade show, vendor meeting, etc.
- Partner frequently with the Sales Pursuit team
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5 years + working knowledge on NonStop Hardware essential
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience troubleshooting in a technical environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with case management databases and tools
- Superior customer service skills
- Phone and remote support experience
- Partners frequently with the Sales Pursuit team.
- Ability to solve and document solutions for usage of other technicians and customers
- Ability to lead resolution activities with escalated customers
- Ability to contribute to technical action plans
- Ability to create knowledge
