Full time project assistant

This is Onsite Position for native speakers of German, Malay, Thai, Turkish, and Arabic. We are looking for those native speakers who are now in China and could work in Chengdu, Dongguan or Nanjing.

Responsibilities:

1. Corpus writing, sound recording and acceptance inspection;

2. Intent/Feature-based corpus production, in German (Germany), Malay (Malaysia), Thai (Thailand)j, Turkish (Turkey), or Arabic (Egypt preferred);

3. Text normalization, speech tagging, tokenization and adaptation cultural characters;

4. Working with teams from different professional backgrounds.

Requirements:

1. Native speakers of the languages above, excellent English, good command of listening, speaking and reading in Chinese (HSK 4 or above);

2. Proficency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.);

3. Experience in translation or localization;

4. Familiar with the language rules of the corresponding language;

5. Computational linguistics or corpus linguistics background preferred;

6. ASR(Automatic Speech Recognition)/NLU(Natural Language Understanding)/TTS(Text To Speech） domain experience preferred.

Negotiable

Work Period:

08.20-04.21(Aug. 2020-Apr. 2021)

Work schedule:

5 days/ week, 8 hours/ day.
