POSITION DESCRIPTION

• New Business Development and build up strong relation with Client
• Management Sales Team and build sales structure

---

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The management of the Sales Department.
• Proposing to the General Management new avenues for business development.
• Conducting market research and developing a proactive Three Year Marketing Plan so as to promote business growth in China
• The analysis of deviations and the proposition of corrective actions.
• Conducting Sales Administration procedures with Key Accounts and customers and developing monthly customer sales forecasts.
• Participation in the establishment of an Agents Sales Network and the following development of Agent activities and action plans.
• The development and maintenance of optimum relationships with customers.
• The management of customer information.
• The participation in the introduction of new products to the local market.
• Communication with regional and global Sales & Marketing Divisions and other business units.
• Regular reporting to management including the development of action plans and the provision of suggestions to improve customer satisfaction and company profits.
• Responsible for accounts receivable collection in the period on contract between company and client.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• This position requires a college degree or above in a chemist, business or sales and marketing related field with a minimum of 10 years experience in a strategic sales and sales management function.
• 6 plus years of experience in a high production environment. 10 years experience in hard good selling, with 5 years of managerial experience.
• The position requires excellent organizational skills as well as strong leadership, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maximum proficiency in the utilization of computers and all common software packages is also mandatory.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer, Agents and Distributors needs.
• The ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Considerable travel within all of China is expected.
• ERP System experiences or relevant experience

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

• Sales experience in the phenol and chemicals industries would be advantageous.
