As part of the Logistics team in Shanghai, your role will be drive successful operational service level with customers in multi-channels and taking both a pro-active and reactive approach by solving customer issues a timely manner that honours the customer and is in line with CHEP policies.  Based at our Erskine Park Shanghai office, this role reports directly to the Logistics & OES Operation Team Supervisor.  

  

 

  

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  

 

  

• Onsite people management to support project: logistics, operations, asset management etc.

• Meet quality / cost / timing targets for each program

• Stablish and maintain capital / development / other budget expenses for each program

• Develop and implement programs to ensure operation optimum utilization

• Maintain partnership for CHEP with customers and vendors

• Develop worker and motivate the team to ensure success

• Work according to CHEP’s standard processes and procedures, utilizing CHEP systems and tools.

• Working within the guidelines laid out in the CHEP Vision and Values stated

               

  

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  

 

  

• Bachelors in Logistics, engineering or business field

• Considerable experience in Project Management, preferably in a logistics services environment or package services; experience in a related business e.g. Auto and or logistics-based businesses; experience in Project Management & Root cause analysis 

• Adept at partnering in multiple levels of the customer organisation; must be able to work across functional groups (Business internal and external, IT, Logistic) and build effective working relationships

• Flexible, organized and highly self-motivated; detailed understanding of Financial measures and KPIs

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English at a minimum; strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office or comparable programs

• Strong organisation, problem solving and time management skills; high level of analytical and problem-solving skills

• Act with a sense of urgency and achieve results quickly; drive for results, takes ownership, delivers on commitment

• High energy, demonstrates sense of urgency to achieve important goals; be open minded and an energetic person who understands the importance of his/her role in the overall development of the China Automotive business
