Responsibilities:
? Maintain server infrastructure by providing system guidelines, troubleshooting and remediating problems, and where required provisioning new servers ;
? Maintain software distribution infrastructure;
? Product life-cycle management;
? Engineering and securing server;
? Implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency with company values and goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
? Responsible for driving standardization of provisioning, server applications, server roles, monitoring, workflow, infrastructure performance testing, and software release practice
? Provide thought leadership with respect to all aspects of Windows and Linux Server infrastructure, performance management and technology operations
? Evaluate realistic infrastructure growth and performance forecasting based on operational trending analysis (Capacity Management/Planning)
? Design and maintain reliable, available and secure data center systems and storage

Qualifications:
? BA or BS degree or Technical Development with Systems Engineering certifications (eg: Red Hat and/or MCSE)
? Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on Windows and Linux systems administration and production infrastructure engineering experience, preferably with experience in a high-transaction, high-availability 24x7 environment
? Proven ability to implement, manage and support highly scalable and high performance SaaS, PaaS infrastructures
? Experience in building and support monitoring infrastructure - Nagios, Cacti, etc..
? Experience in participating in incident management processes.
? Ability to work with scripting languages
? Knowledge of Cloud concepts, Web Services and APIs is highly desirable
? Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the team
? Collaborative with strong project ownership and follow-through ability
? Apologist or VM Control Center experience will be plus.
? Exposure to ISP Cloud Operations is highly desirable.
