The (Sr.) Logistics Specialist role is responsible for driving operational excellence and identifyingopportunities to maximize supply chain efficiency. This includes:? Collaborating with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and vendors to assist with day to dayshipment execution? Building relationships with origin contacts in order to further IL goals (includes government,carrier, and other industry representatives)? Oversight of South China freight consolidation operations (CFS) including monitoringmetrics, performing audits, and carrying out operational improvement initiatives? Support key supply chain metrics, including on-time, lead time, and cost? Resolve incidents and challenges that impact the supply chain at origin

？ Oversight of outsourced providers, including freight forwarders and ocean carriers？ Identify and implement creative solutions to operational challenges and opportunities？ Exhibit strong working knowledge of global supply chain fundamentals？ Regularly monitor and evaluate service provider and vendor performance？ Implement procedural and technological process improvements between merchandising,vendors, 3PLs and transportation providers.？ Build partnerships with new and existing service providers？ Partner with freight forwarder to provide orientation and training to new vendors (existing vendorsas needed) with a focus on THD shipping requirements

？ Bachelor degree？ At least 3-5 years’ experience in international supply chain？ Preferred experience in the areas of: trade management, pricing, operations management,transpacific shipping？ Proficient with Microsoft software suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word)？ Strong communication skills (both written and oral) in English and Mandarin Chinese
