Vice President is a high visibility, high impact role spearheading our growth efforts through sales and new product development for China. This role will require a broad range of skills including P&L management, and leading departments as diverse as sales, applications team. The successful candidate will demonstrate market and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and prioritize actions. The position is based on Shanghai .

Key Responsibilities:
1. To take forward and deliver strategy for the growth and development of the Product.
2. Responsible for all aspects of business, including full P&L, direct responsibility for all operations and sales.
3. Responsible for ensuring consistent pricing and customer specific strategies; setting minimum pricing requirements and building strategic relationships with key Customers. Provide leadership in growing the business in China.
4. Develop and implement the annual long-range plan, ensuring that all the targets are met or exceeded.
5. Review and approve capital appropriations and investment requests up to the approval limit.
6. Build effective team, including strong management team, and ensure successors for key positions are being developed; provide leadership and coaching / mentoring of talent pipeline.
7. Drive operational excellence in plant, including effective operations, supply chains, quality, lean manufacturing and EHS systems.
8. Oversee program and product launch of products.
9. Communicate effectively with teams to optimize use of resources and know-how. Coordinate and collaborate as necessary with the global organization.
10. Foster and develop a working environment which encourages cooperation and exchange of know-how and ideas. Able to drive necessary change and secure cooperation without direct authority.
11. Promote communication among teams in China.
12. Provide weekly and/or monthly management reports to higher-level management of company.

  Experience & Skills required:  

1. Bachelor Degree in engineering or other related area. MBA is a plus.
2. 5 years of full P&L management experience.
3. Previous experience working for global organization, with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of corporate policies, procedures and systems.
4. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
5. Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, including Six Sigma or lean manufacturing experience.
6. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, problem solving, and project management skills.
7. Excellent leadership skills with proven track record developing, motivating, mentoring and leading effective teams.
8. Strong background in general management, financial management, business development, sales and marketing with strong business analytical skills.
9. Strong background in program management.
10. Highly flexible, willingness to travel.
