职位描述
Job Duties :
- Monitor on-time ex-factory of product with the use of Work in Process tracking and proactive communication with the vendors.
- Review planned volume against factory capacity and previous performance to determine optimal seasonal volume.
- Track style finalization progress to verify all product is ready to buy at time of first PO.
- Team with internal customers to understand key supplier performance requirements.
- Maintain vendor performance measurement system in key operational areas.
- Frequently measure supplier performance through surveys of internal customers and reporting on metrics/trends as well as on-site verification visits.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify key areas of development; implement continuous improvement programs through the Vendor Action Plans.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and vendor guide compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers and Burton internal customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
- Maintain accurate ex-factory and delivery dates in SAP; collaborate with the Demand Planning department in discussions on airfreight when needed.
- Facilitate communication between the vendors and our third party partners including TradeCard, Kuehne and Nagel, and the ADC (DHL).
- Perform on-site assessments of vendor production performance when needed.
Requirement:
- Major in supply chain management, trading or business with bachelor degree.
- At least 2-3 years work experiences at supply chain management / trading / date analysis, Working experience in sport industry is preferable.
- Able to communicate with both of Mandarin and English.
- Good computer knowledge & MS Office (Word, Excel...etc.) , familiar with SAP preferred.
- Well-organized, flexible, good data analytical and interpersonal skills, team work spirit.
- Can work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills.
- Timely problem solving skills needed.
- Travel is necessary.
