COUNTRY SALES MANAGER

OBJECTIVES:

Provides an effective and economic Sales Administration and Planning Resource for Sales Management and GOS system support. Participates in the preparation and monitoring of sales strategies and plans in cooperation with the GM, following Group Sales guidelines.

Assures the achievement of sale targets within the assigned time frame, revenues and costs through effective management of the subordinate team of Area Managers and Promoters and promotional resources available.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Co-ordinates the production of sales forecasts, selling cost budgets and sales targets (in terms of turnover, contribution margin, credit days, etc.)

Identifies business opportunities

Prepares and proposes the sales policies and budget

Develops the main commercial channels (windows makers, distribution, real estate developer).

Considering the market segmentation develops the new sales structure by territory and/or channel

Guarantees the effectiveness of sale structure

Successfully executes promotional activities and delivers product innovation to the market in line with Group guidelines

Boost in the market the whole products range

Maintains contact with all the clients in the market area to ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction

Represents the company, standing by the General Manager, in the institutional relations and in the relationship with the Opinion Leaders

Ensure that the entire Sales Services function operates with a trained, motivated staff able to meet business needs.

Performs the market analysis regarding trend and opportunities;

Lead Customer Service Team, and GOS team.


EDUCATION:

Educated in business, marketing or related discipline

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics

Sales-driven approach

Excellent communication skills

Basic knowledge of Commercial law and contracts

Experience with ERP/MRP functionality. SAP knowledge is advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in sales management and managing a sales organisation

10 years of experience in sales in Distribution and Direct Sales in Business Materials sector (preferably from hardware and components for windows and doors).

Previous experience in an international environment is a plus

PERSONAL SKILLS:

Strong communication and organization skills

Team leader

Ability to work under pressure, maturity and self confidence

PLACE OF WORK:

Fluency in English
