GENERAL SUMMARY:
Report to Sr. Manager of China Production. This role provides support to GIS Hub PI, China Production & Retail team on ensuring compliance to China's requirement on Product Testing & labeling. This role also provides support on root-cause & resolution of quality issues and provides administrative support in liaising with CIQ labs, local labs and BV/ITS. This role will manage projects that ensure Gap's success with product quality in China.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Routine work (20%)
1. Daily communication with GIS Hub PI.
2. Testing operation management support.
3. Product regulatory compliance management support.
4. Manage test report review process.
5. Review critical failure.
6. Monitor the China product regulatory compliance.
7. Monitor SharePoint information.
8. Budget creation and updating with new forecast each month.
9. Manage the PI team. Create goals, write reviews, monitor performance.

2) Clerical support (5%)
1. Ensure correct information are uploaded for the system.
2. Ensure all samples/test reports are tracked when requested by China Production team.
3. Presentation preparation support for the Sr. Manager of China Production.
4. Projects management support.

3) Technical support (50%)
1. Provide technical advice related to quality improvement.
2. Risk assessment to aid judgment call.
3. Identify product enhancement opportunities.

4) Weekly DC/store visit/strategy (25%)
1. Potential quality issue callouts and labeling checking; solution provider for Sr. Manager of China Production
2. Partner with store operations to educate store associates on quality issues
3. Create and support strategies to minimize risk of product testing failures and related issues.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
External: Vendors/CIQ lab/local labs/BV/ITS and related China authorities if needed.
Internal: China Production/ Logistic/GA/ receptionist /store operations/regulatory compliance in San Francisco/GIS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Knowledge, skills & abilities
- Detailed oriented, fast paced, good initiative, strong sense of responsibility
- Good technical skill in related field
- Good typing skills and well-verse in Microsoft Office
- Good written and communication skills
- Large scale project management
- Able to train business partners on essentials of product integrity
2) Minimum educational level:
College level
3) Minimum experience:
8~10 years related product/testing experience
