POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Depot Manager will be responsible for managing a class leading cleaning and tank container maintenance and repair facility. They will ensure that the operation successfully complies with all relevant health and safety legislation with particular emphasis on achieving and maintaining the requirements of local government bodies.
- The Depot Manager will ensure that the plant is continually improved to provide effective and efficient services in accordance with customer requirements.
- Working closely with the Country Manager and the Safety & Technical VP for Asia, this is a challenging management role which will ensure that the operational and logistical demands of the region are met and maintained to the highest standards.
- Due to the nature of the activities, previous experience of managing hazardous operations is essential as this role will require regular liaison with the Competent Authorities and the emergency services to ensure that, in the event of a major incident, all appropriate control measures are implemented and effective.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Management experience in chemical or mechanical industry.
- High levels of self-drive and enthusiasm.
- Dynamic and proactive approach.
- Excellent ability to speak read and write in both English and Chinese.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a relationship builder and a strong communicator.
- Good leadership and people development skills.
- Numerate and computerized.
- Good understanding of chemical logistics operations.
- Learns quickly, able to develop a good knowledge of the organisation and its people.
