工作职责:

Job Summary:

The Strategy & Implementation Director, under ROBG of PBG China, will be responsible for converting critical business opportunities into strategic programs of varying complexity and scope across Oncology and Rare Disease portfolio.  The Director will provide internal operational consulting services by partnering with ROBG leadership team in the form of opportunity analysis, project and program management, leadership to project teams, and thought partnership with leadership members. The director will also work with leadership team to deliver mid-to-long term expansion strategies and lead the execution processes. For that purpose, the director will lead ROBG strategy implementation, OP development work, and assist ROBG Category Lead to prepare business update and strategy review to global leaders.

By bringing strong influencing skill, business analysis, facilitation and effective project management practices, the Director will help ensure the success of a broad variety of strategic initiatives and conversion of critical opportunities into real actions and platforms.  Typical work includes developing business insights, driving business transformation, building new capabilities, increasing business efficiency efforts, and re-designing complex processes, etc.

To excel in the job, the colleague will need to have a demonstrated understanding of the business. He/she will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail along with excellent written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility, influencing and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities:

The Director uses business knowledge & analysis, change management,  process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements & tools to analyze issues and drive solutions for ROBG. 

The Director obtains deep understanding of Oncology and Rare Disease business, collates and prioritizes business needs / opportunities, and develops effective strategic solutions / platforms (which include operating model design, strategy and governance, timelines, resolving conflict across upper management, managing implementation, overseeing change management on business transformations) and becomes a key thought partner to advise business leaders.

The Director needs to initiate high-level talks with senior leaders to influence, impact and active engage into front-line business by means of effective discussion between front-line sales and marketing colleagues.

Education and Experience:

MBA degree strong preferred

A minimum of 3 years of operational consulting / project management experience, either internally or at a large external consulting firm

5-8 years of overall experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry desirable

Prior position at an external consulting firm equivalent to a principal level desirable

Strong ability to anticipate roadblocks well before they occur and take action to ensure they don’t arise

Commercial experience (sales, marketing, commercial operations, etc.) in China

Demonstrated strength with business analysis and strategic thinking

Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessions or one-on-one meetings.

Able to interact, partner and provide thought leadership for key stakeholders with comfort and ease.

Strong business sense

Technical Skills Requirements:

Experience with operations consulting methodologies and frameworks including change management methodologies such as strong influencing skills including pushing back on senior management as appropriate, visual storyboarding methodologies, expertise in creating and implementing governance models, org design.

Experience with business process creation or re-engineering and change management

Fluent in Mandarin and English

Excellent oral and written communication capabilities, presentation and facilitation skills

Must be able to manage matrix teams across multiple functions and have a working knowledge of each function

Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities

Basic understanding of finance
