Responsibilities include:

? Manage the development and gathering of product specifications and inspection criteria for all applicable products. Develop, qualify and implement testing requirements, procedures and methods for testing, inspecting or qualifying products/new products.

? Assist vendors, manufacturing facilities, divisional quality personnel and product managers globally in developing and organizing product specifications, device master record information and inspection criteria.

? Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

? Manage and direct day to day activities of quality assurance unit to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Education

? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in a related science or manufacturing area.

Relevant Work Experience

? At least 5 years’experience in Quality Control.

? At least 5 years’experience in QSR/GMP/ISO requirements and compliance.

? At least 5 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing and motivating people as they work.

Additional

? Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word

? Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel

? Intermediate level skill in Microsoft

? Working knowledge of ISO, ASTM, AATCC standards and test methods.

? Working knowledge of ANSI or other sampling tables.

? Working knowledge of process validations
