Responsibilities

To understand the design specifications; conduct analysis; deliver the results of analysis done on it as per the defined quality and time standards and suggest design modification in case of structural failure.

·         To perform client requirement analysis

·         To perform quality process compliance for adherence to defined standards

·         To do high level design and document it.

·         Vendor interactions, manufacturability studies, testing and simulation

·         Mentor team members, resolve technical queries

Qualifications and Requirements

·         Master or PhD degree majored in Materials or Polymer Engineering;

·         More than 8 years of working experience, and consumer electronics industry is preferred;

·         Metallurgy & Material Science Knowledge is a must (Extensive Experience);

·         Demonstrate specific experience and expertise with soft materials integration to hard goods at high volume (e.g. micro-fibers, woven, adhesives, PU etc.) with foundational knowledge of materials chemistry, related process engineering, and cross material interactions.

·         Should have knowledge on the fabric and soft materials;

·         Should have worked in product life cycle for to identify the materials to the parts and validate materials by testing;

Should have experience in manufacturing to validate the parts or product.
