PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

主要工作职责：

1.FAE who reports to the FE Manager, will be part of WDC customer facing team and work with sales/marketing team to do the pre-sales technical support for the storage product (HDD/SSD), include but not limit to the new technology and product design-in, qualification issue management, technical consulting and other on-site debug activities.

2.A strong sense of Technical Ownership of Customer, to manage technical resource and other support resource from WDC to come out the right solution to meet customer requirement, keep customer satisfied and improve Total Customer Experience.

3.Major customers are the leading Cloud customers in China.

4.Deeply understand cloud customer's requirement on storage application, and being a technical bridge between HDD&SSD storage technology and cloud application technology.

5.Well communication skill, work with local sales/marketing team and global cross-function teams to define, advocate and drive solutions-related product commitments.

1.现场应用工程师汇报给应用技术支持经理，是西部数据面向客户团队的一员，和市场、销售一起合作，为存储产品（HDD/SSD）提供售前技术支持，包括且不限于新技术、新产品的导入，引入测试问题管理，技术咨询及其它客户现场支持活动。

2.对客户的技术诉求有强烈责任感，协调管理西部数据内部技术及其他资源提出正确的解决方案以满足客户需求，维持客户满意度，以提升客户整体体验。

3.主要的客户是国内领先的云服务公司。

4.深入理解云客户对HDD和SSD存储应用的需求， 作为云业务、云技术和存储技术的桥梁。

5.很好的沟通技能， 和销售、市场以及全球各跨部门团队一起合作为客户提供产品技术保障。

REQUIREMENTS

职位要求：

1.Bachelor Degree holder or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline

2.Have knowledge of HDD/SSD or data storage product is a plus

3.Familiar with different operating system on embedded system, e.g. Linux or others

4.Experience in C/C++ language programming and corresponding tools 

5.Technical knowledge of storage interfaces: SAS, SATA, NVMe,etc, is a plus; 

6.Skilled in using Oscillography or logical analyzer

7.Strong customer relationship management skills and report writing.

8.Cooperative and self-motivated.

9.Strong problem solving and analytical skills on hardware/software issues

10.Able to work under pressure and required to work over-time to meet tight project schedule

11.Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English and team work spirit 

12.Be able to handle multiple tasks

13.Quick learning and excellent self-learning capability

14.Frequent travel in mainland China to support customers are required

1.电子工程/计算机工程，或相近专业， 本科以上学历；

2.有HDD/SSD或数据存储相关知识优先；

3.熟悉多种嵌入式操作系统，如Linux；

4.熟悉C/C++语言编程和相关工具；

5.有存储接口：SAS、SATA、NVMe等知识优先；

6.示波器或逻辑分析仪使用技能；

7.出色的客户关系管理技能和汇报总结技能

8.合作精神和自我激励能力；

9.软件/硬件方面出色的分析和解决问题能力；

10.能够在压力下胜任工作、加班，以按时交付紧急的工程项目；

11.具有出色的中文和英语沟通技能，和团队精神；

12.能够同处理多个任务；

13.快速学习和自学的能力；

14.需要经常在国内出差以提供客户支持
