My client is a top furniture trading company in furniture and industrial materials. This position is responsible for providing Quality control support to the company. The business has been established for more than 15 years and the sales has already covered the major consumer markets in the world.

Responsibilities:

Management of QA & QC system & functions QA policies, Procedures, Processes, WI's and data record for the entire company Management of Quality Audits Management of daily operation incl. all Q-functions IQC standards for all material categories IPQC standards for all Production processes IPQC standards for all Packaging processes FQC standards for all FG inspections QC standards for all loading processes Training and skills improvement of the Quality System & team Continuous improvement of Quality mindset of all employees Main activities

Ensuring QA & QC systems are valid, updated and respected Prepare and execute Quality audits Managing department directly or through Team leaders Ensuring generation, improvement and maintenance of all Q-Standards Ensuring generation, improvement and maintenance of all company Quality system levels Ensure skills development of all Q-team employees Ensure daily follow up on claims & corrective actions Ensure follow up on product databases and system management Prepare monthly reports Prepare and follow up fixed cost budget for quality dept. Continuous training of all employees regarding quality understanding and spirit

Education

Engineer or similar education level (Bsc.) Basic education in furniture , wood, upholstery or cover material company Professional experience

Minimum 10 year experience as Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager / Supervisor in a furniture manufacturing company, incl. responsibility for all functions of the Q department Minimum 3 year experience in a sofa manufacturing company Language Skills:

Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) in reading, writing and verbally Excellent English in reading, writing and verbal communication IT skills

Good knowledge and skills in MS office and Outlook
