Are you passionate about furniture, design and architecture and want to be part of an international design company? We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager for &Tradition to be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy in APAC region except China to achieve the company’s corporate objectives and generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sale targets.
&tradition is a Danish design company established in 2010 with the founding principle being tradition tied to innovation. The unique library of furniture and lighting spans from the 1930's to the present day, and includes designs by internationally renowned designers.
The stable of designers that &tradition work with are connected by a desire to push manufacturing techniques and to find innovative uses for materials. Although &tradition is influenced by Nordic heritage, we handpick design talent and production facilities internationally and across the ages. Our vision is to carry on the tradition of fine craftsmanship as well as introducing our design heritage to a new generation of conscious consumers.
Role Summary
The Sales Manager will identify and pursue new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers. Moreover, he/she will analyze the sales and make improvement proposals to clients, as well as evaluating and managing franchisees, making reports and carrying out action plans independently.
Further responsibilities include:
1. Distinguish the location and manage the point of sales launch together with clients.
2. Manage dealers to follow company’s instructions, including store maintenance, sales performance, marketing activities, marketing analysis etc.
3. Follow up key accounts projects to insure excellent customer service and proper representation of &Tradition.
4. Establish and maintain effective communication links with other departments to identify all sales opportunities.
5. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree or above
· Ideally above 5 years of experience in key account management and business development, preferably from design or durable goods industry
· Great business development skills and retail operation knowledge
· Excellent sales ability, with proven track record of sales management and execution
· Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills as well as an enthusiasm and interest in design and lifestyle goods.
· Team-player, enjoy working together with colleagues and clients.
· Fluency in English required, Chinese and other languages of the APAC region are a plus.
· Able to travel frequently within APAC region
