Responsibilities

?         Maintain Status and updates on budget, schedule, performance and cost of the Program, also Risk and mitigation plan

?         Drive component selection, and design health by leveraging Microsoft’s preferred suppliers.

?         Monitor End-to-End development of the program ensuring meeting specification and delivery of high quality, and timely response.

?         Update design artifacts like schematics, BOM as per inputs

?         Assess BOM Health improvements via One PDM and helping align Supply chain goals with Engineering

?         Provide Failure Analysis support to Engineering ensuring proper resolution

?         Track full delivery of services from end-to-end development and for its entire product lifecycle

?         Responsible for the preparation of gate review materials which will be used to present milestone status of the program by the accountable FTE.

?         Responsible to discuss and negotiate cost of product to MS preferred vendors but cost decisions should be done by accountable FTE.

?         May create purchase order in MS system if the interim approver has been informed and put as one of the approvers at least as interim.

?         Visit Tier1s either in China or Outside China as the need arise.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

?         Bachelor degree or above majored in Electronics Engineering

?         More than 6 years of experience as Senior Build & Release Engineer

?         Sound Understanding of the electronics product development, manufacturing and sustenance process

?         Familiarity in use of PLM/PDM tool

?         In depth knowledge on ECR / ECO process and change management

?         Product configuration management

?         Familiarity with MS Office tools like WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, Share point, One Note and ONEPDM

?         Excellent written and oral communication skills

?         Good planning and tracking skills
