Build PM

Responsibilities

?         Create build plan for build dates and quality by working with functional teams to fulfill needs.

?         Work with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth completion of product build, address any issues identified.

?         Design build config matrix by considering different component options, different suppliers, components qualification plan, certificate application plan, etc. and keep the matrix updated per design changes and production status.

?         Adjust build plan per changed material delivery status and keep functional teams aligned on regular basis.

?         Plan and execute on Prototype builds remotely or at supplier site.

?         Order and track/manage all material from PO through receipt.

?         Work closely with suppliers when order adjustments are needed.

?         Coordinate ordering of off-the-shelf components with PCB Assembly partners.

?         Work with factory team to manage material ordering and tracking.

?         Have weekly meeting with engineering teams and T1 supplier to review COS status.

?         Work with design and component engineers to ensure the quality and completeness of BOMs before and during the build process, keeping pace with rapid cycles of learning in design.

?         Work closely with electrical engineers, industrial designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, design verification engineers, component engineers, and program managers to meet program goals.

?         Support deviations to the build and the adjustments required to the BOMs to support realignment of the build schedules.

?         Find solutions to material availability issues so that builds occur on schedule.

?         Provide program status updates for materials and prototype arrival.

Qualifications and Requirements

?         Bachelor degree or above majored in Electronics Engineering

?         More than 6 years of experience as Build PM

?         Sound Understanding of the electronics product development, manufacturing and sustenance process

?         Familiarity in use of PLM/PDM tool

?         In depth knowledge on ECR / ECO process and change management

?         Product configuration management

?         Familiarity with MS Office tools like WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, Share point, One Note and ONEPDM

?         Excellent written and oral communication skills
