Sales Director 销售总监,国内包装龙头企业
Job Objective:
To be the Leader of China sales organization.
To develop, plan, implement and manage all sales and marketing activities resulting in optimized sales and profits consistent with annual operating budgets and supporting short term & long-run objectives.
Lead the efforts of opportunity pipeline, relationship management, program execution to optimize market share growth.
Responsibilities:
- To develop China’s strategy and prepare for execution for profitable and sustainable double digit business growth in China.
- To carry out local business reviews to evaluate progress in the short, medium and long term as well development of concrete guidelines.
- To formulate, communicate, gain support for and implement effective sales strategies which will maximize the sales and profits of the Company products through direct sales.
- To work with China GM to manage sales activities, including selling exhibit space, floor plan management, data base development, effective forecasting, and customer dispute resolution.
- To lead and coach Sales team in China for better efficient of sales.
- Building up sales pipelines in the target segments, to lead the development of strategic account plans for target/potential accounts.
- To provide feedback to China GM about new sales/new product development needs/opportunities for China market. Commit the potential sales number and deliver the result.
- To establish and maintain strong rapport with existing customers.
- Collaborate to establish the pricing strategies required to effectively gain penetration and market share while meeting defined profit goals.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecast.
- Evaluate and communicate market trends, customer preferences, competitive information, pricing actions and product information using both direct and indirect customer contacts and utilize this information as a basis for making changes or refinements to existing market and product plans.
- Select, hire, train and develop qualified sales individuals necessary to meet goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage immediate subordinates & sales team.
- Cross-functional and cross-cultural skills to work with local management team and global colleagues.
- Bachelor degree’s holder or above in Business Administration, Chemical, International business management, Sales management & Marketing or its equivalent.
- More than 10 years’ experience in a management and leadership role.
- More than 8 years’ sales team management experience in Chemical or plastic industry to large volume customers. Skills on goal setting, territory and pipeline management, sales forecasting and plan writing.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners and customers; Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills.
- Proven effectiveness in direct selling skills.
- Must possess knowledge/experience of trade show sales, general show/event operations and has strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrates sound business sense and ability to see the big picture. Strong work ethic, commitment to seeing duties at a high standard of quality.
- Integrity, intelligent and proactive.
- Ability to travel 60% or above.
- Strong computer aptitude including knowledge of word, excel, access and power point.
- Fluent written and oral English communication capability is a must.
