职位描述
The primary role and responsibility of the Business Partner (Associate Director/Director), People – Eastern China is to act as the Key Advisor for the sub-region for all People-related issues, taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day People matters, providing professional support, advice and solutions on all People related matters.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to Regional Managing Director, Eastern China and functional leaders based in Eastern China in developing, planning and setting People strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures and ensure effective and timely implementation;
- Work with Shared Services Center to ensure the daily People operations of Eastern China (including offices in Shanghai and Hangzhou) goes efficiently and effectively.
- Provide strategic People services to the EC business in line with the People Strategic plan of Greater China to optimize the use of the Company’s human resources and maximize profitability;
- Work cooperatively with managers of other People functions including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards & Operations, Talent, Learning & Development, Payroll, People Projects etc. to ensure an integrated approach is taken in supporting the Company’s strategic goals;
- Keep up-do-date on labor-related legislations and government policies,and ensure full compliance thereof across all businesses in Eastern China.
- Formulate, plan and implement People initiatives, policies and programmes based on business objectives and goals, such as those related to recruitment and staff retention, and ensure effective and timely implementation of these programmes.
- Initiate, re-design and drive changes in the People processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency as and when necessary.
- Work closely with the other national and regional People teams (including TA, TL&D, TR and Operations, etc.) in the effective deployment of People services to the business as and when needed.

- Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese;
- University degree or above in Human Resources or related discipline;
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in effective human resources functions and management, including those related to talent aquisition and retention, career planning, developing organizational culture, and exit strategies;
- Experience in providing expert advice to senior management;
- Client-oriented with a high degree of integrity, discretion and customer focus, demonstrating an ability to provide quality advice on people issues, make sound decisions and provide recommendations; maintain and encourage discretion and confidentiality
