Job description
GTS Software Service team is responsible for providing technical support, project implementation, IT architecture optimization and solution design to clients across China. Its mission is to leverage IBM's best capability and experience to deliver excellent service to customer.
Work closely with and provide best technical services to customer.
Provide product support, troubleshooting and analysis assistance on installation, usage, configuration, performance tuning and development.
Work independently as product expert by leading complicated situation/project and focusing on one or more of the following areas:
1. System and Server related area, including AIX, PowerHA, PowerVM, GPFS, Storage, etc.
2. Database and Information Management, including DB2, Enterprise Content Manager, Cognos, etc.
3. Websphere and relevant products, including WAS, MQ, TXSeries, etc.
Provide solution design and infrastructure optimization to customer by combining technical expertise, advanced product experience, best practice and IT service insight
Support and implement solution in complex environment, and collaborate with other IBM team to achieve project target
Understand IBM service solution and delivery model, and provide to customers to best meet their requirement
Support customer and project team on critical cases
Pursue service excellence and customer satisfaction
Act as PM and lead project to success
Required:
Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. System and Server related area, including AIX, PowerHA, PowerVM, GPFS, Storage, DR solution, etc.
2. Database and Information Management, including DB2, Enterprise Content Manager, Cognos, etc.
3. Websphere and relevant products, including WAS, MQ, TXSeries, etc.
Excellent communicating and interpersonal skills
Rich customer facing experience.
Software development background is a plus
Fluency in Mandarin and English
Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Intermediate
