Responsibilities:

? Development and implementation of test methodologies and techniques to assess the product reliability thru structured test planning, execution and data reporting.

? Engagement on multiple products with cross-functional teams and management of lab activities and personnel

? Engagement with devices suppliers to set up Reliability lab at their location as needed to run reliability tests.

? Active participation in Budget planning, monitoring and reporting.

1) Reliability Test Planning

a) Understanding reliability test requirements and develop Test Plans (Sample Size and Test Duration Determination) & procedures and to assess the product reliability.

b) Work with lab staff to execute reliability test plan

c) Review the design of test fixtures / scripts that are planned to be used for test execution and provide necessary inputs to improve or optimize the test fixtures.

d) Interaction with devices suppliers to set up reliability lab at their location as need to run the reliability tests – Samples availability, Chamber Selection, Fixture Preparation & resource planning.

2) Reliability Test Execution

a) Maintain test data files, and databases and reports test status and non-conformances to engineering teams.

b) Participate in failure analysis to determine the root causes of failures.

c) Perform reliability analysis & FEA Analysis to formulate the hypothesis and validate it thru testing.

d) Perform analysis on test data generated to understand the trends & variations in performance data

3) Reliability Test Reporting

a) Create Interim & Create Final Engineering reports @ end of Testing within the agreed timelines.

4) Lab Management

a) Support Lab Operational Improvement efforts to optimize the test methods

b) Review the standard operating test procedures & provide inputs and feedback for optimization and error proofing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

? Bachelor degree or above majored in Electrical or Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related field such as Micro Electronics, Optical Engineering or Industrial Engineering;

? Experience in performing Reliability Analysis using common analysis tools such as Reliability Prediction, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

? Experience in using Physics of Failure based approach to develop accelerated test plans for the common failure mechanisms in electronic products

? Experience in understanding the reliability test specification and writing test procedures

? Knowledge of statistical techniques and models is required to analyze test data and estimate product life cycle performance

? Experience in generating flexible reports within Excel; proficiency with pivot tables, advanced functions, macros

? Experience in carrying out failure analysis on component Materials – Preparation of samples, carrying out analysis and Making inference from the failure analysis

? Experience working with LabVIEW; Thermal test equipment, thermocouple data acquisition systems, Failure Analysis Equipment

? Experience in Business Intelligence and Statistical Data Analytics using any tools such as Cognos, SAS, Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, Python

? Strong communication skills required, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms and to develop and follow test documentation such as plans, procedures and reports
