POSITION PURPOSE: The role will play an integral role in building a continuous candidate pipeline in China and other APAC countries through various online sourcing strategies. On a daily basis shehe will be researching and speaking with people who demonstrate skills and characteristics that would make them potential candidates for Ascensia. Shehe will be responsible for identifying channels for completing initial candidate screenings and determining which candidates are potential prospects either for current or future openings. MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION: You will be responsible for researching and mining talent using job platforms linked-in and other sourcing tools You have a good awareness of and focus on creating a positive candidate experience.In this role you will be a brand ambassador and you must be able to articulate the company vision values and culture while simultaneously being an expert in assessing skills fit and experience to recommend candidates for current or prospective openings You will work closely with and support the Talent Acquisition Partner HRBP to support a variety of roles. In addition to developing candidate pools that we can tap into to quickly backfill openings largely within the sales and marketing function you will also be searching for candidates with specialized skill sets in emerging areas of digital technology Upon identifying good prospects you will conduct an initial phone screen to determine experience level interest fit and provide detailed information to the recruiter ranking top candidates based on these criteria. As you become more familiar with the company and open positions you will be assist in conducting market mapping in key functional areas. You will reach out to passive and active candidates using variety of sourcing strategies you will explore developing relationships with universities and building awareness of Ascensia through social media trade shows and other channels. You will generate reports relating to scouting activities and make recommendations other tasks assigned by the hiring manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 3 years of Recruiting or sourcing experience in search firm or in-house recruiting team. Outstanding communication and influencing skills Persuasive persistent and patient Professional demeanor and polished interpersonal skills able to easily establish rapport with people Quick learner Able to work well independently and as a team player Good judge of character Preferred: Experience hiringsourcing in pharma or medical device industries Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System Familiar with candidate sourcing features on Linked-in and other key platforms Familiar with creating Boolean searches
