DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the overall vendor relationship with suppliers and escalate any issues regarding delivery and quality.

· Setup the material supply chain.

· Negotiate volume, price and lead time with yarn and greige suppliers.

· Understand the customers’ fabric requirements - will be expected to work closely with the in-house product development team, technical/operations team and external suppliers on the end-to-end development process.

· To research the textile supply chain for yarn and greige suppliers in countries such as China, Taiwan, Thailand (for raw material importation to Cambodia), and build vendor relationships with new customers.

· Work with existing fabric partners and suppliers.

· Expected to build a material purchasing team locally.

· Responsible for line management of the purchasing team.

· Scope of the role may expand into overall material planning and sales (order processing and account management).

Main location is Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Some remote working overseas also possible.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Fluent in written and oral English. Good Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills also required.

· Computer skills including word, excel and powerpoint.

· Strong attention to details and ability to organize self and others

· Self-directed with ability to problem solve.

· Strong communication skills, able to clearly relate ideas and details to partners, customers and internal team both verbally and in writing.

· Minimum 5 years related job experience working textile/apparel related fields and supply chain/order processing. University accredited courses in apparel and/or textiles a plus.

Understanding of knit/woven fabric construction, dyeing, textile/sublimation printing & finishing would be a bonus
