Role & Responsibilities:
(1) General Responsibilities
· Lead and coach an operation team to execute internal Service Level Agreements (SLA) at, or above the internal customer's standards;
· Monitoring the operation team to ensure right, prompt and proactive action is taken in accordance with the internal Service Level Agreements (SLA);
· Ensure close co-ordination with other Teams/Departments where operations required;
· Provide proper training to the subordinates within the team;
· Ensure the team is operated efficiently in terms of resource allocation;
· Identify service needs of internal customer;
· Any other task assigned to you from time to time

(2) Specific Areas of Responsibilities
· Make suggestions to immediate management in planning, organizing and allocating work of subordinates;
· Collaborate with area business and operations leaders to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service, use Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service;
· Develop precautions to prevent errors/service failure;
· Make suggestions on the Departmental Objectives when necessary;
· Handle ad-hoc project assigned by immediate management and meet with the required deadline;
· Guiding subordinates in problem solving;
· Continuously evaluate staff's product knowledge and suggest training whenever required;
· Handle any new systems rollout, implementation and migrations and meet the required usage level and/or deadline;
· Perform staff appraisal in accordance with Agility Logistics standard procedure;
· Make decisions and solve problems within the team;

Education and Experience requirements
· Bachelor's degree desired. Major course of study in logistics, transportation, international or business preferred
· At least 5 years of Operation experience in Freight Forwarding Industry with 1-2 years managerial experience preferred
· Solid product and operational knowledge is essential
