Each entities of our company client supports luxury brands locally by providing consulting and training services through wide range of customized solutions provided by field experts from business strategy development, executive search, quality of service assessment to customized training strategy, its core business.

The development of a worldwide and divers partner network allows our company client to develop innovative solutions and offer a deep expertise in different markets of the luxury industry, retail, beauty & cosmetic, lifestyle, hospitality and car.

In addition to developing continuously close relationships with international experts in distinctive specializations, our company client has fostered a strategic partnership with INSEEC Group, an international French based educational group and “Luxury Attitude”, a consulting company specialized in helping luxury hospitality and retail industries to make their client promise come true.

Our company client has several offices across Asia: Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul and Hong-Kong

The position is open in Shanghai office.

Responsibility

This position is responsible for the completion of the task, right from its conception to completion.

1. Project planning

- Foresee all potential difficulties and obstacles on the way of project implementation

- Determine project phases

- Set deadlines, scope of work, allocate resources, etc.

2. Managing a project team

- Put together a team capable of successfully completing all consequent project stages.

- Present a scope of work and monitor its fulfillment.

3. Risk management

- risk identification and assessment,

- development of a responding strategy

4. Time management

- To keep all of the project phases within schedule

- With time tracking tools, track the exact time allocation to projects, tasks and customers

5. Managing project budget

- Make sure the project stays within its budget prior to all other concerns.

6. Monitoring and permanent control

- Keep sleepless eye on all pre-set progress metrics of a project. As the situation may change in a blink.

7. Meeting customer’s needs

- Meet or even exceed customer’s expectations.

- Be particularly attentive to any feedback and requests of the customer. Ideally a project should evolve in close collaboration of both sides.

8. Reporting

- Design & choose an appropriate type and form of reporting.

- Reports throughout the whole project life cycle should meet the requirements of precision and transparency.

Requirements:

1. Recruit the Best Possible Team

- Select the most fitting candidates to the team of the project.

- Find and recruit the best people and be sure of their skills and abilities in order to collaboratively work on achieving shared goals.

- Document a detailed job description for every person in the project team, so that all of them will know and understand what’s expected of them, during the whole time and in every step and phase of the project life-cycle.

2. Motivate and Lead the Team

- Be the truly leader who can explain everyone what is to be done and by when.

- Track tasks and make sure that every job is done on time and within budget.

- Identify the delays immediately and then use a corrective action plan to fight the challenge in case that some tasks are overdue or require extra push

- Be positive and supportive towards the project team, show your care along the way.

- Lead by example and to motivate the team to do the same.

3. Control Finances

- Define and allocate a clear and sufficient budget that contributes to exploiting available opportunities and achieving the project goals.

- Ensure that you do not spend more than you are entitled to.

- Manage project finances carefully, by creating cost spreadsheets and estimates while ensuring that project expenses are budgeted upfront.

- Engage your deputy and analysts in performing the cost analysis.

4. Respond to change

- Define the project scope in advance, at the planning phase, and then review it regularly to ensure that team does not perform unauthorized work at any time.

- Communicate with your sponsor to approve change requests.Be an authorized person who controls all changes made to the project scope and responds to change requests (in cooperation with the sponsor and other stakeholders).

- Be ready to respond to changes occurred within the project and timely inform sponsors of the changes, as well as to receive change requests from the customer.

5. Communicate

- Communicate the status of each project regularly and develop reports

- Timely feedback to management in case of problems, such as poor performance, lack of workforce, over-estimates, etc.

- Keep the project on track and communicate the status to the stakeholders (team, sponsor, client etc.).

Qualifications, skills and experience :

? Minimum 5 years working experience, in retail industries (fashion, beauty, watch & jewelry) or consulting services in these industries is a plus

? Capable of handling multiple projects, strong organizing skills, able to define priorities

? Must be a team-player with a high level of communication, and presentation skills.

? Analytical and problem solving skills

? An ability to break down main project phases into smaller ones and assign tasks accordingly. Able to view and control the logic of the entire process through a bunch of smaller steps.

? Establish mutual understanding with the customers, manage their expectations and keep in touch.

? Attention to end and every detail

? Customer-service-focused and committed to achieving highest level of customer, internal/external consultant satisfaction

? Enthusiastic, positive attitude, self-motivated and pro-active.

? Possess creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and takes initiatives.

? Willing to learn and able to work under pressure.

? Native mandarin speaker and Fluent in English, written & spoken

? Comfortable working with Microsoft Office suite – especially good at create PowerPoint presentation.
