The Dow Chemical Company has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Management & Learning Leader, within Human Resources (HR). Our HR organization is in the process of transforming to a leading-edge operating model. This role would be located within the Asia Pacific (APAC) HR Solutions arm of this operating model. The HR Solutions organization at Dow is responsible for the design and delivery of innovative solutions to all employees and leaders. HR Solutions roles contain deep subject-matter expertise in order to consult on programs, processes and people. The top priority of HR Solutions is to deliver the best Employee Experience through exceptional delivery of a portfolio of solutions.

Job Overview:
Working closely with Dow’s Global Experience Leader for Talent Management, the APAC HR Talent Management and Learning Leader oversees a team of regional talent management and learning specialists and representatives who deliver a best-in-class employee experience by providing solutions and consultation in the areas of employee and leadership development, talent review, succession planning, performance management, culture and employee engagement, etc.
Accountabilities:
- Partners with Global Experience Lead for Talent Management to deliver enterprise wide organizational development and talent management solutions that foster a best-in-class employee experience in employee and leadership development.
- Leads a team of regional talent management and learning specialists and representatives ensuring personal and career development of team members
- Provide leadership in the development and optimization of talent management methodologies and programs that maximize utilization of resources while meeting business objectives
- Drives performance of the Talent Management and Learning solutions by monitoring, tracking and reporting on SLA metrics
- Define and develop team member capabilities and maintain skill levels as required for exceptional service delivery
- Regular monitoring of data and solutions quality in accordance with performance metrics, and takes immediate improvement action to drive exceptional service delivery and consultation
- Utilize all available employee feedback to maintain focus on exceptional employee experience
- Facilitates the planning, budgeting, and resource deployment of talent management, learning and development priorities
- Maintain a strong knowledge and outside-in perspective of industry and technology trends
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience
- Experienced as people manager
- Comprehensive knowledge of talent management
processes, tools and methodology and how they work within a customer-centric
business environment - Excellent strategic thinking and conceptual thinking
- Outstanding consultation, influence and coaching skills
- Capable of leading diverse team, fostering inclusiveness and promoting team spirit.
- Strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement
- Thrives on working in a team and supporting others to achieve HR goals/targets.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees addressing difficult issues
- Ability to manage high workloads and conflicting priorities
- Able to operate effectively and proactively with an employee centric mindset
