The position reports to the Business Development Director - Asia Pacific.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution of the complete Flexicare product range, throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, manufacturing, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals for growth of Flexicare in the domestic market in China.

The Product Manager is expected to:
1.Define the product strategy and roadmap in China.
2.Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
3.Margin and Profit responsibility and maximization for the entire product ranges.
4.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
5.Run pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
6.Be an expert with respect to the competition.
7.Act as a leader within the company.
8.Training of all internal staff, distributors and direct customers.
9.Work on new product developments with both internal and external customers.
10.Organize Clinical Trials.
11.Oversee Product registration, ensuring that all product registrations are current and that new registrations
are completed on time.
12.Web-site administration, including facilitating and arranging our current web-site with accurate Chinese
translation and information.
13.Organize our new brochure material to be translated in Chinese according to corporate requirements and guidelines.
14.Organize conferences in China including planning conference displays and samples alongside with the Sales Manager.
15.Marketing material for product promotion in China.
16.Any other duties considered by the company as relevant to this position.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
1.Excellent written, reading and verbal communication skills ( Chinese - Mandarin and English) are required.
Ability to speak any local dialects will be an advantage.
2.Technical/Health Science background (such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemistry or Biology) ,
with experience in Business Management, Sales and/or Marketing.
3.Excellent teamwork skills.
4.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
5.Must be able to travel Internationally as required.
6.Significant local travel is required to support the Sales team in China and is envisaged to constitute 50% of the time.
7.Past and current experience in working with an International organization in the medical industry based in China
will be strongly valued.

A Mandarin translation should also be included and would be appreciated.Interviews will be conducted in English as the primary language of communication in Dongguan by a panel of both international and local managers.
