JOB OBJECTIVE

Support product development in Asia to make sure sample is well executed in terms of aesthetics, quality and timing. Improve communication with various vendor in order to expedite sampling process and accuracy to improve lead time. Coordinate commercialization issues across team to deliver better product and improve on time delivery.

JOB DESCRIPTION

? Ensure appropriate communication between corporate and factory, all sample spec terminlogy well translated and message well received by vendor
? To liase and assist product development team and suppliers, make sure sample executed to company standard and sample sent on time.
? Provide preliminary sample correction to improve sample accuracy, assist factory sourcing correct material.
? Coordinate sample development activity among vendors, follow up on feedback to improve leadtime.
? Communicate back to Montreal with challenge and solutions.
? Provide sample schedule, coordinate with other team in Asia to make sure commercialization process follow plan, on time delivery is well executed.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
? Solid experiences in footwear manufacture and components development.
? Excellent negotiation & communication skill and well organized.
? Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
? Multi-tasking.
? Good English spoken and written, 3rd language is plus, good PC skills.
? College diploma or above.
? At least 3 years of footwear merchandising experience.
? Intensive travel required.
? US size#6 (or Fr #37) foot is plus.
