Position: Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

· Definition of overall manufacturing process flows, and development of appropriate documentation (BOM, routing, test and assembly procedures) and process support materials to sustain lean production.

· Development and implementation of calibration, alignment, and test methods and related tools and fixtures

· Providing ongoing engineering-level problem-solving and support for production

· Initiate Engineering change requests with solutions and follow up the changes to improve mechanical system, parts, drawing and process.

· Providing technical support to suppliers for problem-solving Spec interpreting, qualify the FA.

· Driving the initial pilot builds, and resolving technical issues as they arise

· Project leadership for new product introduction or continuous improvement

· Perform root cause analysis and countermeasures on product failures.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.

· More than 5 years of experience in designing or manufacturing instruments or other system with moving parts. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

· Good at Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles and application.

· Good written and verbal English communication skills

· Experience in the medical device or analytical instrumentation field is a plus

· Good team spirit and hardworking attitude
