Description:
The GD will help in all aspects related to the development of new products, and the updating of existing products at U.S. Offshore. This position requires solid experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Quality Assurance, an eye for detail, and strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photo Shop, Corel Draw, MS Word, Power Point and Excel. A stable employment record and a positive, professional demeanor are essential.
The GD shall develop and maintain on an ongoing basis management tools, policies, procedures, goals and other means used to achieve outstanding results and strive to "exceed " expectations in all endeavors

Duties:
Duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:
· Graphical and Physical packaging design and design of other printed materials such as labels, manuals, CD cases, and stickers
· Printer, Gift Box and other key vendor relationship management and auditing
· Packaging and other printed materials quality assurance and auditing including rejection of any non-conforming materials
· Responsible for the design and procurement of all company business cards
· Packaging and color proof file and sample management
· Manufacturer follow-up for packaging samples
· Assist Merchandising team with any requests for graphic design or computer assistance with images or diagrams that they may need for quotes or user guides, etc.
· Initial evaluation of shipping samples to see if any updates may be needed for future shipments
· Organizing examples of past mistakes on packaging in an area that is constantly visible to the GD on a daily basis
· Product photo shoots
· Completion of "Pre-packaging Design Questionnaire " that needs to be filled out by the GD in order to format New Product specifications.
· New Product Development - Team member responsibilities
· Filing and making package updates in an organized and efficient manner
· Product image updates by requirement (quotations, client's web sites, and company web site)
· Acknowledging email and fax requests within 1 business day of receipt and letters within 3 business days of receipt
· Perform any other assigned duties on a non-interference basis with office staff and complete assignments in a timely manner
· Keep up to date House Brand Packaging Art Book files on all packaging that the Graphics department has designed

Requirements:
· Demonstrated excellence in English and Mandarin
· College Degree (preferably in Graphic Design or Product Design)
· Minimum typing speed of 30 English WPM or 30 Chinese CPM, with 0 Errors
· 3+ years experience in Graphic Design and Packaging Design
· Ability to proficiently operate Graphic Design Programs, PC computers, facsimiles and copiers
· Ability to manage key vendor relationships including but not limited to the Printer and Gift Box vendors
· Ability to make mock-up packaging samples and printed materials
· Skilled in photography
· Ability to edit , and quality check all packaging materials, manuals, labels, CD's and other printed materials in English
· Positive attitude, highly motivated and ability to learn quickly
· Ability to design the art work portion of a Web Page.
· Organized, detail oriented and driven to succeed.
