Since its establishment in 2012, our company client, the joint venture between a Chinese aircraft manufacturer and a global leader in aeronautical power and electrical system, has continuously developed: the company's engineering teams in Shanghai now consist of over 200 employees.

The position is based in Shanghai 

Responsibility

Under the CFO direct supervision and responsibility, Finance Assistant manager is responsible for overseeing and assisting CFO for all aspects of finance and accounting activities which include (limited but not least) accounting reporting, budget planning and control, expense analysis and costing control etc, in order to support business growth

Main function Responsibilities and Activities

Assist CFO for management report, preparation of finance budget, track and implement the budget control especially the variance Vs budget control process

Budget, analysis and control and refer to below detailed workload regarding the main duties            

(1) To prepare the budget  planning and periodically forecast updating

(2) To analysis the variation of Budget to Actual or Forecast to Actual, and release the related report to each department manager     

(3) To review budget application for activities to validate compliance and cost efficiency                                                 

Maximize profits and minimize cost and refer to below detailed workload regarding the main duties                 

(4) To participate and help the business increasing. Support all other functions to submit the cost down planning in order to reduce the cost and drive company performance       

(5) To drive the cost down in every related activities and launch the cost saving actions and help the company to achieve the cost down goal        

(6) To ensure all the OpEx and CapEx under budget        

(7) To participate in daily price negotiation in terms of major purchase contract and decrease the purchase cost Finance and accounting report management and refer to below detailed workload regarding the main duties

(8) To instruct accounting team to ensure compliance with PRC and IFRS GAAP and on time submission of mandatory reports

(9) To lead the accounting team for the analysis of operating results and balance sheet elements to determine and recommend profit and/or cash flow improvement opportunities

(10) To lead the costing control team to drive growth and margin improvement by providing financial guidance necessary to produce returns       

(11) To join the engagement in product costing and analysis and transfer pricing linked sales contract in terms of price   quotation other duties

(12) To develop staffing backup plan and ensure the continuous development of finance department

(13) Responsible for other works assigned by CFO and report to CFO          

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
• A minimum of 12 years working experience with at least 3 years working experience in a manager or a supervisor role   Plant experience in multinational company. Finance experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
• Fluent English speaking
• Hold a certified public accountant at least or equivalent, CPA preferred
• Familiar with the ERP system, BPCS or SAP preferred, Proficient in Excel, MS office tools
• Strong communication skills and conflict-handling skills
• Good presentation skills
• Aerospace Quality requirements knowledge
