About Our Client

Our client is a bilateral new endeavour, established as a new JV by a historically market-leading European Fast Moving Consumer Good industry player, and a large dominating domestic family business on FMCG. They co-invested and co-operated a new JV in North China, with the head office in Beijing, looking to build up a management team. They are looking for marketing manager, to be part of the future growth on the management team.

This role will be based in Beijing, working in JV, but directly reporting to Foreign brand side, China Marketing Director, who is based in South China and reporting to EU directly.

Job Description

This role plays an essential role to influence and shape the future of the new JV on marketing strategy.

• Working with 2 teams on each side, to launch international recognized global snack brand in China to achieve national footprint in category

• Making new footprint on brand marketing, digital marketing and trade marketing, with essentially on framework and execution of digital programme by the aligned brand strategy

• Stakeholder management: strategic planning in liaison with Asia marketing director and global HQ marketing team

• Standing alone in JV, this position needs to prepare and execute marketing plans to make significant impact on Chinese consumers across modern and online channels.

The Successful Applicant

• The mindset is key, as we are looking for someone who can grow together with the JV and the management.

• This role demands a high level of will & skill, including China brand entry, knowledge of JV culture and legislation, multitasking and project management, and a mind of creativity.

• Instead of formality, this role will take full responsibility for marketing and digital development of the JV, therefore requires strong business acumen and ability to influence other stakeholders, by your new initiatives.

Result-driven attitude, goal-getting passion and a willingness for proactive communication and stakeholder engagement.
