Our company client is a subsidiary of one of the Chinese State-owned group which is among the world's Fortune 500, the Company acquired in May 2015 a foreign enterprise in automotive industry. Our company client aims the implementation of a plant in Kunshan, to manufacture refrigerated trucks.

 

Position based in Kunshan.

 

Responsibility

Reporting to the COO (COO = French, based in Kunshan).

The main mission is to coordinate all activities related to purchase and supplies

 

Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supervise the meetings with vendors in respect to pre-determined targets for each case

• Supervise the negotiations, while guaranty the results (quality, timeline, cost)

• Manage the risks and escalation

• Participate to the finalization of the budget, with the PM and CFO

• Track the actions, and report to COO on Purchase

• Propose a global organization for supply-chain

• Monitor supplier performance and contract execution

• Collaborate with Purchasing teams to implement purchasing strategies

• Maintain the relationships with suppliers; Negotiation for the price, Pre-shipment inspection arrangement, order follow-up etc for the purchasing part.

   

  Requirement

• 5+ years' purchasing experiences in multi-cultural groups
• Experienced in ERP
• Experienced in chemicals (resin, Polyester, fiber, foam) will be a “PLUS”
• Accountable, experienced in management
• Fluent English, French language is an advantage
