HR Generalist (CS) – Job Description

Title: HR Generalist

Report to: HR Manager

HR Generalist’s capacity will work closely with GCR Aspire Program Manager to ensure end to end smooth program implementation; take the full ownership on the program operations and logistics to ensure the program hit every milestone, excellent experience for all the hires. He/She should be able to work independently and proactively with PM and global Early Career Team to help achieve global Aspire and GCR Aspire program to a higher level.

Detailed key responsibilities supporting the MBA China Experience Program (MCE), GCR Aspire program, and Global Aspire Program

GCR Aspire Onboarding Support:

?Support Aspire hiring and onboarding experience as necessary, work closely with staffing team and HR operations team etc.

?Coordinate with staffing team to support Aspire to apply for visa, work permit, credit card, and follow up the laptop purchase PO, apply for employee badge to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

?Support ASPIRE check-out process for transition to US Rotation.

?Support ASPIRE check-in process and contract transfer after MCE landing back to China.

MCE/Aspire Program Operations:

?Partner and work with the MCE PM to own and drive the day to day logistics of the MCE program;

?Ensure operational and logistical support is well provided and delivered for MCE hires on rotation experiences, activities and etc.

?Manage and own the Aspire Sharepoint, to ensure the content is uploaded and updated in time through close collaboration with MCE PM and other key stakeholders

?Support MCE PM on the overall MCE program stakeholders communication plan, be able to do content drafting

?Support MCE PM to prepare the related rotation document and collect data for business reviews

?Compile monthly GCR Aspire Report, and do data analysis as requested by people review or program review.

?Coordinate visa and credit card application for Ready, rotations, and landing in China, including processing streamline templates/communications/processes

?Proactively work with global Aspire operation teams and cross function team in GCR whenever needed to ensure the rotation visa and relocation process are smoothly implemented in a timely manner

?Serves as go-to-person on Aspire operation to provide support, input, recommendation to ensure operation excellence

Aspire Event Support:

?Support events such as GCR China Onboarding Week, Reconnection Week, Landing Week, China Kick Off, MS Ready, etc. and take full ownership of the overall logistics to ensure the best experience.

?Support end to end logistics for Aspire training programs;

?Collect feedback and do analysis on the participants’ feedback survey results for continued enhancement;

?Coordinate ASPIRE alumni, mentor or manager events/engagement/trainings

?Local training or community/network building support for Aspire and MCEs

?Work closely with MCE PM for possible new local initiatives for ASPIRE hires in GCR

Global Aspire Program Support:

?Support global Aspire training event in China or Asia, such as Start Strong, to ensure best experience

?Support end to end logistics for ASPIRE training programs;

?Consolidate global Aspire training surveys, input into the system, do analysis and summarize the result and feedbacks for improvement;

?Collaborate closely with global Aspire team to ensure program operation alignment with Aspire/ MCE program

Qualifications/Requirements:

?BA/BS minimum required

?5+ years working experience in HR, operation or project management related roles

?Good MS Office skill, and proficient in excel and powerpoint to make excel reports and ppt, and do analysis

?Strong English and communication skill, to be able to work independently, effectively and proactively with diverse and international teams;

?Very detail oriented and strong sense of operation excellence

?Exceptional sense of accountability and urgency to drive and execute for quality results

?Be able to work under pressure and prioritize effectively

?Confident and good interpersonal communication and strong cross group collaboration skills

?Strong organizational and project management skills, Strong customer focus

?Strong creative, flexible and adaptable skills

?Strong “initiator” skills to identify opportunities/solutions to benefit stakeholders and team processes

?Strong event management experience and knowledge preferred

?Ability to manage ambiguity

Other Position Information:

?Does require ability to attend virtual meetings in multiple time zones, and occasionally in person (as location permits)

?Some travel may be required within region (3-4x per year)
