JOB SUMMARY
Increasingly, technology is helping PM automate systems and processes, improving tenants’ experiences and managing operational risks. Building owners, property managers and building engineers alike have scrambled to replace outdated business operations, decision making models and equipment to deploy innovations that will cut operational costs, improve tenant relations, increase energy efficiency and boost overall asset value. Now D&T becomes imperative to business success and progressively becomes a key competitive differentiator in wining and sustaining PM engagements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
*Develop a D&T strategy and product roadmap for PM Greater China by leveraging on our Pulse solutions and partner network capabilities
*Develop the data mart for China PM platform by mapping it to the GoPulse data model and integrate the China PM platform dataset to GoPulse and Aspire
*Develop overall architecture and system integration design for China PM platform, and work with wider D&T team and partner network solution providers to develop an integrated solution.
*Lead design and development, build to productions, automation, configuration management, functional / performance testing, and application support
*Lead project engagement and development members from scope definition to production deployment
leads SDLC reviews (peer, design, standards, etc.) and credible advisor in specific IT domain
*Collaborate with D&T and Business teams to ensure application and service solutions are successful and respect principles of corporate Architecture (applications, systems, database, security, network, etc.).
*Proactive with identification, communication, and resolution of issues that may impact a project or initiative
seeks innovative ways to remove / overcome obstacles
*Formalize and ensure development tools, standards, policies, and methodologies are established, documented, and adhered to
serves as escalation resource and mentors others as and where needed
*Solution alignment with enterprise cloud solution technologies including operating systems, storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a physical and virtualized data center
*Evaluate, learn, and establish improvement opportunities with people, process, and technology
*Establish innovative methods to achieve overall strategies and objectives
*Keep current with industry solution technologies and practices
*Understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and other technologies and principles that support business continuity, both in virtualized and cloud environments
*Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as needed or requested
REQUIREMENTS:
*Familiar with PM solutions, such as Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Building Information Models (BIM), and interfaces to other systems, such as Internet of Things (IoT).
*Solution, design, and development experiences with Java, .Net, SQL server, Oracle database, and Cloud solutions, familiar with data extraction, analytics and visualization tools, such as Microsoft HDInsight, Informatica, SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), Tableau and Power BI
*Strong technical expertise in one or more IT domain, solving complex problems in fast-paced, always on, environment, including database, security, network, Java EE, JMS, Web Services, REST, and JSON
*Strong written and verbal communication skills and hands-on leadership with onsite and offsite resources
*Proven ability in agile development, performance measures, test plans, quality assurance methodology, and product release criteria based on user requirements
*Very strong analytical, technical, problem-solving skills, self management skills
*Ability to lead standardization of tools / techniques, including continuous speed and quality improvements for project delivery
*Solid experience with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Ali, TenCent, Google, or Azure Cloud
*Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail, takes initiative and excellent time management
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Master’s degree a plus
*10+ years overall in IT systems or application development, 5+ years full lifecycle systems or projects, 4+ years of experience with solutioning, designing, developing, and deploying, familiar with real estate business or financial service industry
