Day to Day Responsibilities:

Provide software solutions to manufacturing systems.

Deliver results to projects that range from development to manufacturing.

Advance software technology on behalf of Manufacturing Technology & Engineering organization, Corning’s corporate technology team

Education & Experience :

Master’s degree and above in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Overseas education degree is a plus.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in IMS/MES Projects (Scoping, Requirements, Design, Development and Deployment)

Experience following a structured software development process (SA/SD, Programming discipline, Test case/Test plan, Change control, etc.)

Experience in Agile software development

Strong knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming (Java, C#, VBA…)

Strong knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XML-HTTP, etc.

Strong knowledge in database design, optimization and maintenance, including Oracle, SQL Server and/or MySQL environment

Strong knowledge of network maintenance and troubleshooting

Familiarity with using design pattern like Abstract Factory, Prototype, Adapter…

Good understanding and experience in different operating systems, such as Win 10, Windows server, Linux system, etc.

Good understanding and experience in Embedded system

Good in system documentation
