Altran is an undisputed global leader in Engineering and R&D services with extensive experience in the Semiconductor  sector. In China, we are working with Multinational Corporations and local brands on silicon design, verification, DFT, physical design and post silicon validation etc..


To strengthen our Semiconductor Management team in China and help our clients deliver their key projects, we are looking for a Team Manager.


The role


Reporting directly to the Division Director of the Semiconductor Business Unit, you will be part of the management team in charge of the people management, technical capability development and delivery of the projects for a client and managing about 70~80 engineers. You will be accountable for the operations, optimizing the profitability trhough staffing, upselling and renewals. You will be responsible for building capabilities for allocating resources in the most profitable way, while developing your team's working environment.


Responsibilities


Client Management

·         Operate as the main point of contact for clients regarding the team performance and potential business development

·         Responsible for developing technical solutions and value propositions for our clients

·         Bring client and technical knowledge to support the creation of proposals for clients

·         Develop relationship with key clients’ stakeholders to build long-term trust and partnerships

·         Meet clients on a regular basis, ensure renewal of contracts is done on time


Opportunities Management

·         Gather market and client intelligence to detect and qualify new requirements

·         Clarify business opportunities with client to get the best possible understanding and mobilize the relevant resources to answer the needs

·         Increase the value of the solutions and services provided by demonstrating Altran’s expertise and credentials


People Management

·         Manage a group of team leaders and Consultants to ensure the best employee experience even on client site

·         Ensure employees satisfaction and engagement by operating as one of the key points of contact between consultants and back-office.

·         Develop consultant’s technical expertise using various knowledge sharing tools

·         Analyze clients’ needs and brief recruiters to ensure quick and efficient recruitment

·         Meet with potential candidates, assess them, conduct technical interview or delegate to technical experts.

·         Confirm and validate pre-offer, offer and assignment letters

·         Monitor and find opportunities for consultants not assigned to a project (bench)


Profile


In order to fulfil the role, we are looking for talented candidates with the following profile:

·         8+ years’ experience within an semiconductor industry

·         Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical engineering, computer science

·         A proven track record in fabless IC companies in SW development or silicon platform design or R&D services or solutions preferably in semi industry. At least an advanced knowledge of Engineering Consulting business model

·         Entrepreneurial and autonomous spirit

·         Strong selling, negotiating and influencing skills

·         Team Management experience is required

·         Ability to work under pressure

·         Team player and Flexible

·         Fluent in English
