Job Responsibility:

1. Develop, oversee and maintain brand voice for OnePlus, enforcing guidelines to ensure consistency throughout all of our communications;

2. Present to senior leadership in writing and in person;

3. Compose captivating copy and keynote speeches for our products and events;

4. Always be ready to rise to any challenging brief with a keen eye for detail, and pro-actively engage, moderate and reach a goal;

5. Conduct research to gain insight into product objectives and target audiences and how best to communicate with them;

6. Work hand-in-hand with product managers and designers to develop engaging and creative pieces;

7. Collaborate with all arms of our business to compose copy for a variety of purposes and goals.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Every candidate must provide a portfolio of relevant work samples;

2. Native-level proficiency in English in writing and speaking;

3. 5+ years of writing experience and editing marketing communications - including interactive copy, print copy, and video copy;

4. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, English or related fields;

5. Outstanding writing and grammar skills, with refined proofreading and syntax skills;

6. A team player who loves to collaborate at all levels;

7. A love for tech is not required, but is highly valued.
