Job description
IBM Systems Director is a platform-management foundation that streamlines the way you manage physical and virtual systems across a heterogeneous environment. By using industry standards, IBM Systems Director supports multiple operating systems and virtualization technologies across IBM and non-IBM x86 platforms.
Common Agent is one key component of IBM Systems Director, in Common Agent team you will be able to works with world wide technical leaders and professions on world leading system management software.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Work with other technical leaders, define, sizing, prioritizing requirement for every release.
2. Follow the Agile process, make release plan, design Epic, and write design docs.
3. Develop new functions, include coding, UT, Demo to stakeholders.
4. Defect fixing and potential customer cases support
Required Skills
- Strong technical leading ability with a hands-on approach
- Excellent Java programming skills, expert in Java core
- Solid OO concept for new component design or existed component refactoring
- Good understanding on project development process like RUP or Agile, familiar with testing principle and practices
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, presentation skills
- Bachelor or above in Computer Science with over three year experience
Preferred:
1. Experienced in system management software.
2. Good understanding on OSGI, Web service, security, etc.
3. Hands on skill on Linux and AIX, familiar with shell, perl
4. Strong analysis and problem solving skills
